Hi, my name is Jacob Helland I am a digital artist that has many different names across the internett, but is most commenly known as Katty13. Currently I study Digital Arts and Animations at The University of Innlandet in Norway
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of playing god—not in an egotistical way, but in the way artists and storytellers can use their skills to create entire new worlds. I love crafting cute, yet strong characters and placing them in worlds filled with epic fights, supernatural slice-of-life moments, and fantastical adventures. Inspired by legends like Vanripper, Piemations, Kevin Temmer, and others, I dipped my toes in a wide range of creative fields, including 2D animation, animatics, concept art, stop motion, 3D animation, 3D modeling, programming, video games, and video editing.
I’m very much a generalist, not a master of any single craft, but I think that's a good thing. Having a broad skill set helps bridge gaps in large productions, reducing miscommunication and streamlining projects. It also allows smaller productions to be completed with fewer people while maintaining creative control.
As the saying goes: Jack of all trades, master of none—though oftentimes better than master of one.
